Bindi Patel

Bindi Patel, MHA, currently serves as a Study Start Up (SSU) Manager at Actalent, on assignment with AstraZeneca, since October 2023. Previously, Bindi held the position of Country Approval Specialist at Thermo Fisher Scientific from December 2021 to September 2023, following a similar role at PPD during the same period. Prior experience includes a Strategy and Business Development Graduate Internship at Premera Blue Cross, where Bindi contributed to the development of a home-grown insurance plan, and a Compliance Internship at UW Medicine, enhancing privacy audit procedures and compliance workflows. Early career experience includes a Patient Care Assistant role at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center, providing direct patient care, and an Undergraduate Research Assistant position at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, conducting research on viral gene expression. Bindi holds a Master’s degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from the University of Washington and two Bachelor of Science degrees from the University of Cincinnati.
