John O'Donoghue

John O’ Donoghue joined Actavo in 2023 as Managing Director of the Events Division for Ireland & UK, having previously worked for Actavo between 2011 and 2016 as Group Procurement Director and General Manager of the Events Division.

John has a degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Limerick, and previously also worked for Aramark PLC as Head of Facilities Management and Procurement for the EMEA region. In 2022 John served as President and Chair of Fingal Chamber of Commerce and also sits on the board of Chambers Ireland.

All of Actavo’s values play their part in the Events industry, but John highlights ‘Operational Excellence’ as the cornerstone in delivering the desired ‘Customer Experience’. John likes to empower his people and to grow and celebrate successes as a team.
