Isabel Mele

Isabel Mele is an experienced MEAL Manager currently working for Acted in the Syria and Turkey mission from Amman, Jordan, since June 2024. Previously, Isabel served as MEAL Deputy Manager and MEAL Officer at Acted, where responsibilities included designing and implementing monitoring, evaluation, accountability, and learning systems to enhance project performance. Isabel's background includes an internship in the Information Management Unit at the IOM Asia-Pacific Regional Data Hub, as well as experience at the United Nations in the Disarmament, Demobilization and Reintegration Section. Isabel's early career involved advocacy work and a graduate consultancy project for the Disasters Emergency Committee. Isabel holds a BA in Economics and International Relations from the University of Sussex and has furthered education at The London School of Economics and Political Science.
