Ian Grant

Ian Grant is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in leadership roles within the engineering sector. Currently serving as Senior Engineering Manager at Actemium UK since October 2019, Ian has previously held significant positions at Westinghouse Electric Company, where contributions included managing engineering teams and overseeing strategic projects for Sellafield. Ian's dedication to the engineering community is reflected in a longstanding volunteer role as Industrial Liaison Officer for IMechE since 2007, in addition to being the Founding Chairman of the NW Young Members Panel. As the owner of Bishop's Crook Brewery since 2013, Ian combines technical expertise with entrepreneurial initiatives. Education includes a B. Eng (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering from Manchester Metropolitan University and an HND in Mechanical and Production Engineering from the University of Central Lancashire.
