Malcolm Hughes

Malcolm Hughes currently serves as the Head of Mobility Development at Actemium UK since February 2024. Prior to this, Malcolm held the position of NIO Network Rollout Manager for the UK at NIO from April 2023 to December 2023. Malcolm's extensive career at Actemium UK spanned nearly two decades, where roles included Sector Manager for E Mobility Infrastructure, Operations and Technical Manager, and Business Unit Manager for Materials Handling/Rail/Pharmaceutical at Actemium East Midlands. Responsibilities encompassed setting business unit goals, managing profit and loss, and overseeing health and safety, environmental, and quality assurance activities. Earlier experiences include serving as a Senior Contract Engineer at Severn Trent Water, an Electrical Maintenance Supervisor at Dunelm Contractors Ltd, and progressing from Electrical Apprentice to Approved Electrician at RH General Electrical. Malcolm completed an Electrical Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from South East Derbyshire College between 1998 and 2002.
