Michael Rynerson

Mr. Rynerson holds an M.B.A. from Babson College focused on Entrepreneurship, a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology focused on Three Dimensional Printing, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Tulane University. Mr. Rynerson was a Fulbright Scholar to the Technical University of Berlin.

Mr. Rynerson has extensive knowledge and experience in advanced technologies including 3D Printing, 3D Scanning, and specialized CAD software used in industrial and dental applications.

He spent the first part of his career in executive roles as an early pioneer in additive manufacturing technology for the automotive, industrial, and defense industries. He was cofounder and head of the ProMetal division of Extrude Hone Corporation (Irwin, USA) that later became the ExOne Corporation and is traded on the NASDAQ exchange.

He then served for ten years with the Straumann Group (Basel, Switzerland), particularly in senior executive commercial roles as CEO of Dental Wings, interim CEO of ClearCorrect, and Executive Vice President, Head of the Digital Business Unit at Straumann.

More recently, Mr. Rynerson was CEO of Xcentric Mold & Engineering (Michigan, USA), a highly specialized rapid manufacturer providing CNC Machining, Injection Molding, and 3D Printing for a wide range of industries including medical equipment, consumer products, industrial equipment, and automotive.
