Lionel Astruc

Lionel Astruc is a French writer and journalist with extensive expertise in ecological transition. Since May 2001, Lionel has been an author at Actes Sud, producing eighteen works that investigate resource and consumer product sectors in France and internationally. Concurrently, as an independent journalist and photographer, Lionel has contributed articles and reports to major publications such as Libération and l'Express. Additionally, as a social responsibility consultant since September 2008 with Walden Conseil, Lionel has collaborated with various organizations including UNESCO and LVMH on strategy, advice, and reports. From September 2016 to April 2020, Lionel co-founded and served as the director of development for the Université Domaine du Possible, focusing on agroecology. Lionel has also held positions as director for Fondation Ekibio and as a strategic monitoring officer at Utopies. Lionel holds a diploma in political science from Sciences Po Grenoble.
