Cheryl Townsend

Cheryl Townsend has a range of experience in the medical and pharmaceutical industry. Cheryl currently holds the position of Vice President of Clinical Operations at Actinogen Medical, starting in 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Alexion Pharmaceuticals, Inc. where they held various roles including Regional Head of Country Operations AsiaPac from 2020 to 2022 and Director of Clinical Operations Leads AsiaPac from 2012 to 2020. Before their time at Alexion Pharmaceuticals, Cheryl served as an Associate Director of Medical Affairs at Merck from 2009 to 2012, and as the Director of Regional Operations at George Institute from 2007 to 2009.

Cheryl Townsend has a Masters degree in Medical Law from the University of Sydney. Cheryl also holds a Post graduate diploma in Clinical Research from the University of Canberra and another Post graduate diploma in Nursing Science from the University of Technology Sydney.
