Heather Henderson

Heather Henderson has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Heather is currently employed at Action Behavior Centers - ABA Therapy for Autism, where they started as a Behavior Analyst and eventually advanced to the role of Clinical Director. Heather then became the Senior Clinical Director and is currently serving as the Regional Clinical Director. Prior to this, Heather worked at ART | Autism Response Team as the Director of Clinical Services and Associate Director of Training. Heather also held the position of Board Certified Behavior Analyst at the same company. Before their work in the field of autism therapy, Heather worked as an Individual Mentor at Simmons University, where they provided supervision and administered exams to students. Heather also gained experience as a Behavior Analyst at Dynamic Therapy Service Plus. Furthermore, Heather has a background in the healthcare sector, having worked at the Texas Department of Aging and Disability Services in various roles, including Lead Behavior Analyst I, Behavior Analyst I, and Behavior Health Specialist III. Prior to their career in healthcare, they worked as a Financial Consultant at The Auto Connection. Heather's career journey began in the US Navy, where they served as an Electronics Technician.

Heather Henderson's education history includes a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Psychology from Old Dominion University, completed from 2012 to 2013. Heather then pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) in Psychology with a concentration in Child and Adolescent Development from Southern New Hampshire University, completed from 2013 to 2015. Following this, they attended the University of North Texas from 2016 to 2017 to study Applied Behavior Analysis. Additionally, Heather has obtained various certifications, including a Board Certified Behavior Analyst certification in 2017 and a Licensed Behavior Analyst certification in 2018. Heather also obtained a certification in Practical Functional Assessment (PFA) and Skill-Based Treatment (SBT) from FTF Behavioral Consulting in December 2023.
