Mary Wykstra

Mary Wykstra is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in wildlife conservation and community development. Since November 2009, Mary has served as the Secretary and founder of Carnivores Livelihoods and Landscapes, overseeing significant projects such as Action for Cheetahs in Kenya and COOL Crafts. Mary has also been the Director of Action for Cheetahs in Kenya since December 2001, focusing on field research and education. Previously, Mary held the position of Kenya Representative for the Cheetah Conservation Fund, facilitating partnerships to ensure the future of cheetahs in their range countries. Mary's background includes work as an Exhibits Curator at Utah's Hogle Zoo and as a certified Ski Instructor at Snowbird Ski and Summer Resort. Mary holds a Master of Environmental Management from the Yale School of the Environment and a Bachelor of Science in Zoology from Michigan State University.
