Action for Children
Sophia Marsh, CLS, has extensive experience in child and family support, currently serving as a Family Support Specialist and Facilitator at Action for Children since September 2018. Prior roles include serving as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at The Ohio State University from August 2021 to January 2022, an Educator at Franklin Park Conservatory and Botanical Gardens from 2018 to August 2019, and a Teacher at Primrose School of Johnstown Road from 2017 to 2018, where responsibilities included working full-time in the early preschool classroom. Sophia's teaching career began at La Petite Academy, where teaching occurred from 2014 to 2017. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Applied Science in Child and Youth Studies from The Ohio State University College of Education and Human Ecology, completed in December 2021, and an Associate of Science in Early Childhood Development and Education from Columbus State Community College.

We were formed in 1972 as the child care referral agency of Central Ohio, but over time we have grown to be so much more.
