Katie Cartwright

Katie Cartwright is a seasoned fundraising professional with extensive experience in leading fundraising teams and securing partnerships within the charity sector. Currently serving as the Head of Relationship Fundraising at Action for Children since January 2023, Katie previously held significant roles at organizations such as Teenage Cancer Trust, where as Head of New Business, mutual partnerships with corporate organizations were established, and Alzheimer's Society, serving as Head of Regional Corporate. Katie's past experience includes contributions to Cancer Research UK as a Senior Philanthropy Manager, where efforts focused on fundraising for the Paterson Building rebuild, as well as roles in business development at Barnsley Hospital Charity and Weston Park Hospital Cancer Charity. Katie holds a BA Hons in English and Drama from the University of Liverpool and completed secondary education at Penistone Grammar School.
