Over a million homes stand empty in England tonight. We are the only organisation whose key expertise is in analysing this wasted resource and examining at how to bring these homes back into use. 

Empty homes are a critical lens through which to view our housing crisis, offering key insights into issues around supply, affordability and quality - the three-headed beast of our housing apocalypse. 

Action on Empty Homes expertise in retrofit and understanding of the complex relationship of housing to poverty, to Net Zero gaols and to health and wellbeing across our population allow us to contribute both to policy debate, community action and academic research.
