Action Renewables
Mark Compston MBA is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in renewable energy and project management. Currently serving as a Board Trustee at Strand Arts Centre since January 2023, Mark has held various leadership roles at Action Renewables since 2016, including Head of Projects and Senior Project Manager. Prior experience includes a tenure at Kingspan Environmental from 2008 to 2015, where Mark managed product certifications, led the integration of a global Customer Relationship Management platform, and delivered renewable energy training. Initially leading a team at Action Renewables from 2006 to 2008, Mark provided advisory services and managed a significant government grant program. Educational qualifications include a BA(Hons) in Business Studies and an MBA in Business Administration from Ulster University and The Open University Business School, respectively.

Action Renewables is a registered NI Charity, supported with funding from Action Renewables Energy Trading Limited, a leading provider of renewable energy expertise since 2003. We deliver value, support and knowledge to over 7000 renewable energy customers. Our vision is to create a Northern Ireland which recognises the serious impacts of climate change, and we will take measures to prevent and mitigate against those impacts through the delivery of our charitable objectives here in Northern Ireland, and specific global projects that provide a direct benefit to the communities in which they serve.
