Joost Huismans

Joost Huismans is an experienced professional specializing in organization development and business transformation. Currently serving as the Head of Organization Development at Action since September 2017, Joost ensures the scalability and efficiency of the organization during its rapid growth, while also overseeing the principles guiding organizational development. Previous roles at Action include Head of International HQ, where leadership extended over a workforce of over 1,000 individuals across various disciplines, and Head of Store Operations at one of Europe's fastest-growing discount retailers. Prior to Action, Joost held the position of Director of Business Transformation & Commercial Excellence at PwC Consulting for two years, following several managerial roles within the firm. Joost's career also includes consultancy and project management positions at Navigator and Interlanden, focusing on performance improvement and transformation projects. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in General Management from Nyenrode Business University, an Executive Sales Management Program from INSEAD, and a Bachelor of Engineering from Hogeschool Alkmaar.
