Kazi Morshed Alam

Kazi Morshed Alam serves as the Head of Programme and Engagement at ActionAid Bangladesh since February 2021, where responsibilities include overseeing country programs focused on humanitarian response, climate justice, and gender equity, as well as developing comprehensive policies and building partnerships with UN agencies and civil society organizations. Prior to this role, Kazi held various positions including Manager-Programme & Fundraising at Practical Action Bangladesh, where strategic program implementation and partnership development were key focuses, and Team Leader for the DFID WASH Results project at WaterAid. Kazi's experience also encompasses technical management in health programs in Liberia at BRAC International, program coordination with International Aid Services, and research on minority issues at Power and Participation Research Centre. Kazi holds a Master of Social Science in International Relations from the University of Dhaka.
