Ellie Shillito

Ellie Shillito is an experienced professional in program quality and assurance, currently serving as a Senior Programme Quality and Assurance Advisor at ActionAid since December 2016. Earlier roles at ActionAid include Programme Quality and Assurance Advisor and Project Information Officer. In addition to work at ActionAid, Ellie co-chaired the Programmes Working Group at the Gender and Development Network from June 2021 to June 2023. Previous experience includes being a Digital Officer at Farm Africa and a Copywriter at Feed Communications. Ellie also held editorial positions at Haus Publishing and Palgrave Macmillan. Ellie Shillito holds a Master’s Degree in Public Policy from King's College London and a Bachelor’s Degree in Modern History from the University of St Andrews.
