James Butare is currently the Head of Programmes and Policy at ActionAid International Rwanda, a position held since 2015. Since 2011, they have also served as Program Quality Manager at the same organization. In addition, James has been the Civil Society District Coordinator at Care International in Rwanda since 2010. They are pursuing a Master of Science in Project Management at Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture & Technology, where they are expected to achieve a Second Upper degree.
