Prerna Kakar

Prerna Kakar is a Principal and Investment Professional at Actis, a leading global investor in sustainable infrastructure, since August 2020. Previously, Prerna held the position of Investment Intern at Actis in 2019 and worked at GE from October 2016 to July 2018 on the Global Growth Team for the Middle East, North Africa, and Turkey, focusing on commercial and growth strategies across various business verticals. Earlier experience includes a role as a Consultant and Business Analyst in Strategy & Operations at Monitor Deloitte from September 2014 to October 2016. Prerna Kakar holds an MBA from Harvard Business School (2018-2020) and dual Bachelor's degrees in Finance and Bio-Engineering from The Wharton School and the University of Pennsylvania, respectively, completed as part of the Jerome Fisher M&T Program (2010-2014). High school education was obtained at the American School of Dubai (2004-2010).
