Jason Thomas

Jason Thomas has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Jason most recently worked at Activ Foundation as the Head of Finance and Reporting. Prior to that, they worked as a Financial Analyst at St John of God Health Care.

Jason also has experience as a Finance Manager at Solomon Breweries Limited, where they successfully managed a team during the COVID-19 pandemic and implemented strategies to protect cash flow.

Before that, they worked at DB Breweries, where they held multiple roles including Senior Business Controller, Business Controller, and Revenue Management Analyst. Jason excelled in financial analysis, strategic planning, and new product development.

Earlier in their career, Jason worked as a Procurement Specialist at Westpac New Zealand Limited and founded a startup called Sweet As Deals, where they created a one-stop shop for promotional sales.

Jason also has experience as a self-employed individual and has worked as a Membership Consultant/Marketing Coordinator at Next Generation Clubs and as a Sales Consultant/Team Leader at Aida Sales & Marketing Pty Ltd.

Jason Thomas obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Management from Assumption University, which they attended from 2005 to 2009. In 2008, they also participated in a Semester Abroad program at Macquarie University, where they studied Economics. In 2016, Jason attended Shaw Academy and earned a diploma in Graphic Design. Additionally, in April 2022, they obtained a certification in CIMA Advanced Diploma in Management Accounting (CIMA ADV DIP MA) from CIMA.
