Ryan Gill

Ryan Gill has a strong background in FPGA engineering, with experience working at various companies. Ryan currently holds the role of Staff FPGA Engineer at Activ Surgical since July 2021. Prior to this, they worked as an FPGA Engineer Contractor at Activ Surgical from 2020 to 2021. From 2016 to 2021, Ryan worked as an FPGA Firmware Engineer at Silicon Micro Display, Inc. Ryan also served as an Electronics Engineer at OPTRA Inc from 2011 to 2016, where they were involved in FPGA design, circuit simulation, and various other tasks related to electronics engineering. Ryan's early career experience includes working as an Electrical Engineer at Dynamics Research Corporation from 2005 to 2010, where they focused on test equipment FPGA design and PCB design in the Navy's Strategic Guidance Program.

Ryan Gill attended Framingham State University from 2000 to 2002, studying engineering. Ryan then went on to the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering in 2005. After that, they pursued further education at Northeastern University and completed their Master of Science in Electrical Engineering in 2013.
