Brenna Teigler

Chief Fellowship Officer at Activate

Brenna Teigler is the Chief Fellowship Officer at Activate, and has previous experience as a Program Operations Manager at Cyclotron Road and as an AAAS Science and Technology Policy Fellow. Brenna has played a lead role in guiding strategic direction, coordinating communications, and overseeing program execution for the three Lab-Embedded Entrepreneurship Programs - Cyclotron Road (Lawrence Berkeley National Lab), Chain Reaction Innovations (Argonne National Lab), and Innovation Crossroads (Oak Ridge National Lab) - with the Advanced Manufacturing Office (AMO). Brenna also helped scope and establish the program Build4Scale: Manufacturing Training for Hardware Innovators by coordinating the National Laboratory Call for Proposals and review. Brenna has also managed the monthly Tech-to-Market Community of Practice meetings for the Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy applied technology offices, and has helped review, analyze, and summarize the 65 responses to the Industry and Investment Partnerships for Scaling Innovation Request for Information.

Brenna Teigler has a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biophysics from Harvard University and a B.S. in Professional Physics with a Minor in Mathematics from Rutgers University.

Brenna Teigler reports to Todd Johnson, Interim Chief Executive Officer. They work with Aimee Rose - Executive Managing Director, Cortney Newell - Director of Philanthropic Partnerships, and Naomi Baer - Chief Operating Officer.
