Biniam T. Bisrat

Biniam T. Bisrat possesses extensive experience in geochemistry and data management within the mineral exploration and resource industries. Currently serving as Data Manager at Actlabs since May 2014, Biniam oversees data-related activities and leads teams in the Ancaster core mineral operation departments, ensuring quality data reporting and resolving issues related to data non-conformances. Previous roles at Actlabs include Process Owner and Data Analyst, alongside research positions at Acadia University where Biniam focused on geochemistry techniques. Earlier career highlights include managing groundwater exploration at the Water Resources Department, conducting mineral exploration with Sanu Resources, and performing geological assessments with both Nevsun Resources and the Department of Energy and Mines. Biniam holds a Master's degree in Geochemistry from Acadia University and a Bachelor's degree in Earth Sciences from Asmara University.
