Daniel Shill currently serves as the Manager of Clinical Validation & Toxicological Assessment at Active Concepts, where responsibilities include conducting safety assessments for cosmetic products, overseeing the development and implementation of safety and efficacy tests. Prior experience includes roles as a Research Scientist & Cosmetic Toxicologist at Active Concepts, and as a Research Scientist/Pre Doctoral Fellow at the National Institutes of Health, where Daniel was recognized with the Ruth L. Kirschstein Individual National Research Service Award. Educational accomplishments consist of a PhD in Exercise Physiology from the University of Maryland, an MS in Exercise Physiology from The University of Georgia, and a cum laude BS in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from James Madison University. Throughout the academic journey, Daniel demonstrated strong research and project management skills, completing multiple independent projects and contributing to significant advancements in the field.
