We’re Active Nation, a registered charity committed to inspiring the nation to improve their health and well-being.
 
Our mission is driven by poignant and powerful statistics… 50% of women and 30% of men in the UK are damaging their health through a lack of physical activity. Physical inactivity is now associated to 1 in 6 deaths in the UK.
 
We exist to spread the word of sport and exercise in all its forms, getting whole communities excited and opening their eyes to the health benefits and possibilities leading an active lifestyle can bring. We achieve this by creating digital and physical environments that tear down perceived barriers and encourage increased participation in physical activity.
 
Using our 20 venues nationwide as base to operate from, we support more than 250,000 people being regularly active within the four walls of our venues and beyond out in the open spaces of our communities.
