Brian McGovern

Brian McGovern is an experienced lighting console programmer at IATSE Local 479 since January 2020, specializing in programming lights for film and television productions. As a project manager and audio visual technician at Select Media Resources, LLC since May 2017, and also at Active Prod since January 2011, McGovern works collaboratively with clients to ensure successful event production and guide crews in creating enjoyable environments. Additionally, McGovern is the owner of B12vision, a creative content company. With over eight years of experience as a production assistant in the film and television industry, accumulating over 300 days on set, McGovern holds a Bachelor's degree in Cinematography and Film/Video Production from Georgia State University, earned between 2007 and 2012.
