Jim Merrell

Jim Merrell is an experienced advocacy professional with a strong background in transportation and health issues. Currently serving as Advocacy Director and previously as Campaign Manager at Active Transportation Alliance since March 2013, Jim has also held significant roles at the AIDS Foundation of Chicago from January 2010 to March 2013, including National Advocacy & Mobilization Manager and National Coalition Development Coordinator. Earlier experience includes a position as Research Assistant at Universidad de los Andes and as Policy Associate at the AIDS Foundation of Chicago. Jim holds a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from Northwestern University, earned between 2002 and 2006.
