Julie Strand

Julie Strand currently serves as the Development Director at Active Transportation Alliance, a position held since October 2017. Prior experience includes serving as the Major Gifts and Planned Giving Officer at Franciscan Outreach, where responsibilities involved establishing a formal major gifts program and enhancing donor relationships. Previously, Julie held the role of Development Director at Chicago Youth Programs, overseeing fundraising operations and managing grant submissions. Additional experience includes communications and development internships at Forefront, public relations with Rotary International, and editorial work with Northwestern University Press. Julie holds a Master's degree in International Communications from the University of Leeds and a Bachelor's degree in English Literature from Northwestern University.
