Bruce Pereira is a Senior Software Engineer at Redwood Software since September 2021, previously serving as a Software Engineer at Advanced Systems Concepts, Inc. from January 2015 to September 2022. During tenure at Advanced Systems Concepts, Bruce co-architected the ActiveBatch Mobile Ops and Self-Service Portal, developed a complementary REST API, and implemented multi-factor authentication across client applications. Bruce also enhanced the ActiveBatch Console desktop app and restructured the command-line interface. Internship experience includes assisting in the release of the ActiveBatch Web Console. Bruce holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Rutgers University–New Brunswick, obtained in 2015.

(ASCI) was founded in 1981 in Hoboken, New Jersey, as a software engineering and consulting company specializing in the development of Strategic System Software Management Solutions. ASCI has developed numerous solutions over the years such as XLNT, RemoteSHADOW, ActiveBatch, and more. With an initial focus on thedevelopment of "Mission Critical Applications", ASCI introduced INTACT® for high-performance transaction processing, which was subsequently licensed to HP (then Digital Equipment Corporation). INTACT® was renamed DECIntact, ultimately becoming the heart of their transaction processing strategy in the commercial sector.
