Michael Edward Rico

Michael Edward Rico is the Chief People Officer at ActiveCampaign. Michael has over 19 years of experience in Human Resources. Rico started their career at Gap Inc in March 2002 as a Human Resources Manager. In 2006, they became the HR Manager for the Gap's flagship store in San Francisco, CA. In 2007, they took on the same role for Old Navy's flagship store in San Francisco, CA. Michael held this position until 2010 when they were promoted to SVP, Employee Success Business Partner at Salesforce. Michael held this position for 11 years until they were recruited by ActiveCampaign as their Chief People Officer in November 2021.

Michael Edward Rico has a Master of Arts in Psychology from New York University and a BS in Business Administration - Mktg & Mgmt / Psychology from Notre Dame de Namur University. Michael also has certification from Cornell University in Foundations of Employee Relations and HRCI - Human Resources Certification Institute in SPHR, Senior Professional in Human Resources.
