Caroline Pacheco do E. Silva (Ph.D.) has a wealth of experience in computer vision and machine learning. Caroline began their career in 2006 as a Software Developer at SEMGE, where they worked on analysis, design and development of web applications and data processing systems. In 2010, they took on the role of Software Consultant at JCL Tecnologia, where their main activities included designing and developing intelligent modules for the "e-cidade" project and testing software components. In 2011, they became a TI Supervisor at CTAI, a Brazilian Technology Training Center for Industrial Automation. From 2013 to 2017, they were a Researcher Phd Candidate at MIA Lab-University La Rochelle, where their research focused on computer vision and machine learning, particularly on visual feature extraction and ensemble learning for feature selection. Most recently, they have been an R&D Engineer - Computer Vision and Machine Learning at ActiveEon since 2017.

Caroline Pacheco do E. Silva (Ph.D.) has a varied education history. Caroline completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition from MIA Lab-University La Rochelle in 2017. Caroline also completed a Ph.D. on Computer Vision and Machine Learning from MIA Lab-University La Rochelle in 2017. In 2014-2015, they completed a Doctoral Stage in Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition from CVC Research Lab. Caroline also participated in a Visão Computacional event. In 2010-2012, they completed an MSc Mechatronics Engineering from Federal University of Bahia - UFBA, with a focus on Computer Vision, Image Processing, Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering. Finally, they completed a BSc Computer Engineering from AREA1 Engineering School in 2004-2009, with a focus on Mobile Robotics.
