Andrew Shansky has held several positions in software development since 2005. From 2005-2008, they worked as a Programmer/Analyst at Marvin Windows and Doors, where they designed and developed custom applications using Visual Basic 6 and Visual Basic. Net, built web applications and services using ASP. Net, HTML, and CSS, developed and maintained SQL server databases, Server Reporting Services and stored procedures, created custom applications and related reports based on SQL server, and developed customized reports based on Oracle 10g database using Visual Basic, Oracle Discoverer, and SQL*Plus. Andrew also conducted training seminars to instruct customers on use of new applications.

From 2008-2009, they worked as a Software Developer at Creative Data Solutions, where they designed, developed, tested and maintained court case management software for local, state, and federal governments using Visual Basic. Net for both desktop and web applications, upgraded existing Visual Basic 6 legacy applications to SOA based web applications with WCF services, wrote documentation using activity, sequence, and class diagrams, employed Agile methodologies and the SCRUM development process in product development, produced service packs to meet customer needs by maintaining legacy Visual Basic 6 applications, and led and participated in company wide leadership workshops.

From 2009-present, they have worked at ActivEngage, where they have held the roles of Vice President of Development, Sr. Director of Software Development, Director of Software Development, and Lead Developer. In their role as Sr. Director of Software Development, they manage the entire product development lifecycle, builds, develops, trains, and manages a development team capable of carrying out needed development initiatives, and develops and directs procedures and methods to ensure quality standards are met and maintained.

Andrew Shansky obtained their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Tennessee at Martin between 2001 and 2004.
