Ming Kong Woo

Ming Kong Woo is an experienced software engineer with a strong background in the development of ActiveViam products. Starting in 2010, they worked as a Trader and Technologist for a self-employed venture before joining ActiveViam in 2013. At ActiveViam, Ming Kong Woo initially held the position of Senior Software Engineer, where they were responsible for designing, developing, and deploying ActiveViam products and solutions. They gained a high-level understanding of use cases in banks and financial institutions related to risk management and collateral optimization. In 2022, Ming Kong Woo was promoted to the role of Principal Software Engineer at ActiveViam, where they showcased extensive knowledge of the ActiveViam product and business operations. Prior to ActiveViam, Ming Kong Woo worked at Standard Chartered Bank as an eCommerce Developer, contributing to the development of trading systems and modules. They also served as AVP, Equities Trading Technologies at Merrill Lynch Global Services and as VP (Applications Development) at Fairex International Finance Systems, where they managed the development of FX Trading systems.

Ming Kong Woo attended the National University of Singapore from 1993 to 1997, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. In 2004, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Finance at both Baruch College and The City University of New York, completing their studies in the same year.
