Jonathan Lane

Jonathan Lane is a seasoned data science professional with extensive experience in leading advanced analytics and machine learning initiatives within the gaming industry. Currently serving as the Sr. Director of Advanced Analytics and Machine Learning at Activision since April 2021, Jonathan previously held the position of Director of Product Analytics and LiveOps at 2K. Earlier roles at Activision included Manager of Player Science, where Jonathan led teams focused on data-driven game features and in-game economies. Jonathan’s career also includes significant contributions as a Lead Data Scientist at Sandia National Laboratories, where statistical consulting and research were key responsibilities. Jonathan holds a Ph.D. in Statistics from Rice University and a B.A. in Computer Science and Mathematics from The University of Texas at Dallas.
