Phil Friend

Phil Friend is a seasoned Disability Rights Advocate, Consultant, Author, and Podcast Host with over thirty years of experience in the field. They currently serve as Vice-President of Activity Alliance, a Fellow of the Royal Society for the Arts, and Convenor of Not Dead Yet UK. Phil co-hosts the podcast "The Way We Roll" and hosts "Gear, Gadgets and Gizmos." Recognized for their significant contributions to equal opportunities and disability, Phil was awarded an OBE in 2001 and received an Honorary Doctorate from Hertfordshire University in 2009. Their work emphasizes fairness, equality, and fostering inclusive environments where diverse voices are valued.
