Kevin Augustyn CFRE has a diverse range of work experience. Kevin has held the position of Vice President of Development at the Acton Institute since January 2023, where they are responsible for overseeing development initiatives. Prior to that, they served as the Director of Advancement at the same organization from February 2022 to January 2023.

From July 2021 to February 2022, Augustyn worked as a Visiting Fellow at the Mercatus Center at George Mason University, conducting research on illiberalism within right-of-center Catholic intellectual circles. Kevin also published the results of their research in popular venues.

Augustyn began their career as an Instructor at the Archdiocese of Denver Catechetical School from January 2000 to June 2004.

Kevin Augustyn CFRE has a diverse education history in various fields. From 1995 to 1999, Augustyn attended the Franciscan University of Steubenville, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Philosophy. Kevin then continued their education at the St. John Vianney Theological Seminary/Lateran University-Rome from 1999 to 2004, earning both an MDiv. and S.T.B. degree in Theology and Pastoral Care. Lastly, from 2011 to 2016, Augustyn pursued a Master of Philosophy/PhD-ABD at The Catholic University of America, focusing on Medieval and Renaissance Studies.
