Vichet Chum

Vichet Chum is an accomplished actor and playwright with a diverse range of experience in theater. Since February 2015, Vichet has been part of the Actors Theatre of Louisville, portraying Fidel in Colman Domingo's world premiere of "Dot" as part of the Humana Festival of New American Plays. Prior to this, performances included roles such as Alex/Pham in Jen Silverman's "The Hunters" at The Cherry Lane Theatre in 2014 and both actor and playwright for "KNYUM" at the same venue in 2013. Vichet also played Sebastian in "Twelfth Night" at the Shakespeare Festival of St. Louis in 2013. Earlier training includes participation in the Guthrie Experience for Actors in Training and multiple performances at the Trinity Repertory Company. Vichet holds an MFA in Acting, Playwriting, and Directing from Brown University and a BFA in Acting from the University of Evansville.
