Maggie Shuter has over 30 years of experience in the Film and Media Industry, primarily as an actor, stunt performer, and background performer at ACTRA since 1989. Alongside this, Maggie Shuter has dedicated 24 years to animal welfare, currently serving as an Animal Safety Monitor at Movie Animals Protected (MAP) and an Animal Welfare Monitor for Media Animal Welfare. As the President and Founder of Chatopia, a refuge and rescue for purebred cats, Maggie Shuter prioritizes the well-being of rescued animals and has successfully managed the adoption of thousands since 2005. Additional roles include Shelter Manager positions at various organizations such as the Canadian SPCA and Chiots Nordiques, and production coordination at Thunder Storm Films. Maggie Shuter holds a B.A. in Field Biology, Geography, and Environmental Studies from Bishop's University.
