Embedded Software Engineer at ActronAir

Jinghui Wu has a diverse work experience, starting with their current role as an Embedded Software Engineer at ActronAir since May 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Baraja from December 2021 to March 2023 as an Algorithm Engineer, where they focused on receiver signal processing algorithm for Lidar 3D object detection, research and development, data processing, algorithm development, optimization, machine learning, systems modeling, interference mitigation, software development and maintenance, and CI/CD and code review.

Before joining Baraja, Jinghui Wu served as the Assistant Director of Engineering at Free TV Australia from December 2013 to October 2021.

Their earlier professional experience includes research roles at the University of New South Wales, where they worked as a Researcher from March 2011 to November 2013 and from January 2010 to February 2011. They also pursued a PhD at the university from August 2006 to September 2010, focusing on topics such as new GNSS signal receiver design, unambiguous tracking loop algorithms design for Binary Offset Carrier (BOC), and pioneering the first position fix of the Galileo navigation satellite system. Their research work during this time resulted in publications in high-ranking IEEE and IET Journals.

Jinghui Wu holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Signal Processing for New Satellite Communication Signals, which was obtained from the University of New South Wales (UNSW) between 2006 and 2009. Prior to that, Wu completed a Master's degree in Digital Signal Processing at the Electrical Engineering and Telecommunication department of UNSW from 2005 to 2006. Wu's undergraduate education includes a Bachelor's degree of Engineering in Precision Instruments and Mechanology, which was earned between 2000 and 2004 from the School of Electrical Engineering and Automation at Beijing University of Aeronautics & Astronautics. Additionally, Wu has obtained a certification in LPIC-2 Linux Engineer (201-450) Cert Prep: 2 Linux Kernel from LinkedIn in April 2023.
