Rafal Pijewski

Rafal Pijewski is the Co-Founder and CTO of Actronika. Rafal was previously a Hardware Research Engineer at Université Pierre et Marie Curie from October 2010 to December 2013. There, they were responsible for the design, development and optimization of devices for a haptic research team using CAD, CAM, and FEA. Rafal also coordinated a mechanical workshop and cooperated with external subcontractors. From October 2008 to July 2009, they were a Mechanical Design Engineer at PALL Corporation where they designed and developed a movable test rig installation for an oil company. Rafal also designed all mechanical parts of the installation and selected sensors based on task requirements. Rafal oversaw the assembly and acceptance of the installation. From July 2008 to September 2008, they were a Mechanical Design Engineer at HTL-STREFA S.A. Lastly, from July 2007 to September 2007, they were an Intern at HTL-STREFA S.A.

Rafal Pijewski has a Master of Science in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from Ecole centrale de Nantes and a Master of Science in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from Warsaw University of Technology. Rafal also has a Bachelor of Engineering in Materials Engineering from Ecole nationale supérieure d'Ingénieurs de Constructions aéronautiques and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from Warsaw University of Technology.

Their manager is Gilles Meyer, Co-Founder & CEO. Some direct reports include Hugo Bouchard - Software Team Leader, Gwendal Fernet - Mechatronic Engineer, and Leandre Bouchet - Software Engineer.
