Amiel Jackson has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Amiel started their career in 1991 serving as a Nuclear, Biological, and Chemical Operations Specialist in the US Army until 1996. Following that, from 1996 to 2002, they served in the Illinois National Guard as a Chemical Operations Specialist and Soldier. Amiel then joined the US Army again in 2001 as a Military Police/Security Officer Soldier until 2002. In 2002, they began working at the US Department of Homeland Security, where they held various positions including Supervisory Transportation Security Officer, Transportation Security Manager, and Deputy Assistant Federal Security Director for Screening operations at O'Hare International Airport, where they played a key role in coordinating and overseeing security screening operations. Amiel later became the Co-Owner and President of Mr. Herbs Pizza in 2013. Currently, they work as a Project Manager at ACTS-Aviation Security, a role they started in 2019.
Amiel Jackson obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice/Safety Studies from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, completing the program from 1997 to 2001. In 2010, Amiel received a Certificate from Behavior Detection Training. Additionally, in 2002, they attended the Department of the Army for an unspecified duration, and in 1991, they completed a Certificate course in Toxic Environment Hazardous Waste Handling, Decontamination, and Removal Operations from the Department of the Army Toxic Agent training course.
