Michael Kelly

Vice Chair at ACTS Retirement-Life Communities, Inc.

Michael Kelly is the current Director at ACTS Retirement-Life Communities, Inc. Prior to this, they held the position of University Vice President at Georgetown University from September 1991 to May 1998. In this role, they were responsible for human resources, facilities, academic and administrative information technology and telecommunications. Michael also served as a liaison with the faculty on behalf of President, recruitment of new academic and administrative leadership, management of governance mechanisms and committees and decision processes of University, strategy formation with Board of Directors on key University initiatives, including Board governance and committee restructuring, special role in supervision of medical center, including structuring and changing leadership in Fall of 1996, initiation and ongoing supervision of University-wide effort called "Centered Pluralism" to define and actualize the religious and moral identity and purposes of the University, restructuring of the University, e.g. Information Technology, Medical Center clinical enterprise, and central administration , initiation and management of "re-engineering" effort called Administrative Excellence to improve quality and lower costs of administrative processes throughout the University, and active role in community relations and federal relations.

Michael Kelly attended Yale University School of Law and earned their LL.B. Michael then went on to earn their Ph.D in Michael'story from the University of Cambridge. Lastly, they completed their B.A in Michael'story from Princeton University.
