Jonathan Pitts

Jonathan Pitts is the Chief Science Officer at Actual Experience. Jonathan has held this position since November of 2008. Prior to that, they were the Chief Technology Officer at Nexagent from March of 2001 to November of 2008. Jonathan was also the Manager of Consulting Engineering (EMEA) at Cisco Systems from January of 1998 to March of 2001.

Jonathan Pitts is a highly accomplished individual with a wealth of experience in the IT industry. Jonathan is a thought-leader and motivator, with a primary focus on product strategy, research and development, and innovation. Jonathan has successfully managed sales campaigns with some of the largest companies in the world, such as BT, Infonet, Verizon, WorldCom, and Azzurri. Jonathan has also been instrumental in raising over $70M for Nexagent through their work on the fundraising team. Jonathan is well-respected in their industry and has represented Nexagent at numerous shows and events, as well as to press and analysts. In addition, they have filed and managed patent prosecutions in multiple jurisdictions around the world. Jonathan is also an active participant in standards work with organizations such as the IETF, MFA, IPSF, and TMF.

Jonathan Pitts received a B.Eng in Electrical & Electronic Engineering from the University of Bath. Jonathan also attended Bushey Hall School.
