Roger Austin

Roger Austin is a Partner at APR - Actuarial Solutions since November 2006. Roger co-founded APR with Gary Heslop in 2006, aiming to provide high-quality actuarial and technical solutions to clients. Prior to APR, Roger worked at Hazell Carr as the Actuarial Resourcing Director, where Roger developed the actuarial contracting business line and increased its size threefold. Roger also served as Head of Quality and Head of Technical at Hazell Carr, responsible for setting up quality controls and managing all technical aspects of the company. Before that, Roger was a Scheme Actuary at Standard Life and a Valuation Actuary, where Roger performed actuarial valuation work. Roger holds a BSc in Actuarial Mathematics from Heriot-Watt University.
