Fabian Núñez

Fabian Núñez is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in public affairs and legislative leadership. Currently serving as Managing Partner at Actum since October 2021, Núñez previously held the position of Partner at Mercury Public Affairs from January 2009 to October 2021, where the firm excelled in high-stakes public strategy. Núñez's legislative career includes serving as Speaker of the California State Assembly from February 2004 to May 2008, during which significant responsibilities included overseeing a budget of approximately $150 million and leading the negotiation of a historic $42 billion infrastructure improvement package for the state. Academic credentials include a Bachelor's degree in Education and Political Science from Pitzer College and a BA in Political Science from UC San Diego.
