Jennifer Kaufmann

Jennifer Kaufmann has a diverse work experience. Jennifer is currently the Managing Director at Actum since March 2023. Previously, they worked as a Senior Vice President at Actum from January 2022 to March 2023. Before that, they served as the U.S. Head of Public Policy at Triple P International Pty Ltd (Positive Parenting Program) from February 2021 to January 2022. Jennifer also held various positions at Mercury, including Senior Vice President from March 2019 to February 2021, Vice President from February 2017 to February 2019, and Director from February 2016 to February 2017. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Counsel/Rules Associate in the Office of Congressman Alcee L. Hastings at the U.S. House of Representatives from October 2014 to February 2016. Jennifer also gained experience as an Associate Attorney at The Tornatore Law Firm from April 2013 to September 2014, and as a Law Clerk to the Honorable Sherrie L. Krauser at the Circuit Court for Prince George's County from August 2012 to March 2013. Jennifer has a legal background from American University Washington College of Law, where they worked as a Student Attorney at the American University Women and the Law Clinic from August 2011 to May 2012, and as a Research Assistant to Robert Vaughn, Professor of Law from May 2010 to May 2012. Additionally, they have served as a Judicial Intern at the Fifth Floor Senior Judges Chambers at the Superior Court of the District of Columbia from May 2011 to August 2011, and as a Legal Intern in the Committee on the Judiciary at the U.S. House of Representatives from August 2010 to December 2010. Jennifer started their career as an Intake Intern at the Legal Aid Society of the District of Columbia from January 2010 to April 2010.

Jennifer Kaufmann attended the American University Washington College of Law from 2009 to 2012, where they earned a Juris Doctor degree. Prior to that, from 2002 to 2006, they completed their undergraduate studies at the University of Miami. There, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Political Science. Additionally, they pursued minors in Business Administration and Art History.
