Roland Kuhn

Roland Kuhn's work experience begins in 2007 as a Systems Engineer at LSE Space GmbH. Roland worked in this role until 2011. In 2011, they joined Typesafe as a Senior Software Developer and worked there until 2016. During this time, they played a significant role in building and leading the engineering department at Actyx AG, where they currently serve as the CTO and co-founder. Roland'sresponsibilities include assembling an international team of experts to drive disruption in the Industry 4.0 sector.

Roland Kuhn obtained their Abitur in Mathematics and Physics from Engelsburg Gymnasium, Kassel in 1996. Roland then pursued their Vordiplom in Physics at the University of Kassel from 1996 to 1997. Following this, Kuhn enrolled in the Technical University of Munich, where they completed their Diplom in Physics from 1997 to 2001. Lastly, they continued their education at the same institution and achieved a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Physics from 2001 to 2007.
