Jeff Shaner

Jeff Shaner has over two decades of experience in the lighting and electrical engineering industry. Currently serving as Director of Design Engineering at Acuity Brands since July 2018, Shaner oversees the commercial indoor lighting division, managing complex supplier and customer relationships and leading capital investment initiatives. Prior roles at Acuity include Senior Market Development Manager and Sr. Value Stream Manager, where responsibilities involved sales strategy and product lifecycle management, respectively. Shaner began their career at L.A. Langley Electrical Contractors as a commercial and industrial electrician. Shaner holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Alabama, earned between 1995 and 1999.
