Jonathan Cohen

Jonathan Cohen has a diverse work experience in the field of information technology. Jonathan currently holds the position of Director of Information Technology at Acuity Eye Group, where they have previously served as VP of Information Systems. Prior to their role at Acuity Eye Group, Jonathan worked as an IT Manager and Team Lead at Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, where they oversaw the IT operations for the SIU Extended Campus. Jonathan also has experience as a Developer at ouRsiders, LLC. and as a Department Head and Coordinator of Technology at Brehm Preparatory School. Additionally, Jonathan owned and operated their own photography business called JC Photography. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated proficiency in managing a variety of technological needs, including maintaining infrastructure, deploying new hardware and services, and integrating third-party systems.

Jonathan Cohen has a diverse education history. Jonathan obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Business Administration and Management, General from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, from 2020 to 2022. Prior to that, they completed a Masters of Science degree in Human Dimensions of Forestry from the same university from 2006 to 2008. Furthermore, they hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Forestry, which they earned from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, between 2002 and 2006.

In addition to their formal education, Jonathan Cohen has also obtained several certifications. In May 2020, they became a Jamf Certified Associate through the Jamf Certified Associate institution. In January 2019, they received an Apple Teacher certification from Apple, and in March 2015, they became a Google Educator through Google.
