Usman Ahmad has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in data analytics and software engineering. Usman started their career at UBS as a Credit Trading Risk Software Engineer in 2007 and worked there until 2011. Usman then moved on to Markit as a Cash Equities & Carbon Credits Software Engineer from 2012 to 2014. Following that, they joined Goldman Sachs as an Associate in Data Analytics Internal Audit from 2014 to 2017. In 2017, they joined Lloyds Banking Group as a Data Analytics Manager in Internal Audit, where they designed and developed strategic and tactical data and quantitative analytics software. Finally, they currently work at Acuity Knowledge Partners as the Chief Data Scientist and Quantitative Developer since 2018. Overall, Usman's experience showcases their expertise in data analytics, software engineering, and risk assessment.
Usman Ahmad completed their education at Imperial College London from 2003 to 2007, where they earned a Master in Science MSci. (Hons) degree in Joint Mathematics and Computer Science. Prior to that, they attended Ashmole School from 1997 to 2003 and obtained A Levels in Maths, Further Maths, Physics, Computing, and Chemistry.
